This ultra-chic modernist cast pewter wine cooler or champagne bucket was crafted in Italy circa 1970 by Atena from an original design by Giovanni Patrini (1931 - 1993).
Italian designer Patrini is a well-known Italian interior decorator. The champagne cooler is designed in the shape of a nautilus shell with three conch shell legs. The cooler is marked on the bottom: Giovanni Patrini Per Atena.
This polished pewter piece boasts character, bold lines, and flawless mastery.
