GÖRAN AUGUSTSON C.1991 ' Con Moto' Framed Gauache
An original gauache created in 1991 by Finnish postwar contemporary artist, Göran Augustson.
Auguston, a distinguished figure in Scandinavian modernism, was known for his refined visual language and precision with colour.
Here in Con Moto he transforms simple shapes, giving them a sense of movement and life with a limited palette.
The crisp and fresh look is further highlighted by the original aluminium frame, and the piece would work well in a variety of spaces; grouped with other contrasting works, or in a light and bright living space or kitchen.
