Italian 1970s recovered pink conversation chair in Dedar Darwinista, a metallic jungle velvet

A wonderful Italian 1970s conversation chair recovered in this beautiful Dedar Metallic pink velvet.

The fabric:  Darwinista. 

A secret forest emerges from a jacquard velvet. Sinuous snakes, hypnotic tigers, glossy feathered toucans, and fleeing monkeys peep out at us. It's a scenario poised between mystery and oneiric apprehensions worthy of Rousseau le Douanier and Art Deco influences. The twofold nature of this fabric is revealed in an encounter between a warm and cosy velvet and the fragmented line of the pattern, which sculpts the luminous metallic ground like a delicate bas relief.
